Long, straight and strong, our hazel bean poles are cut each winter as part of the coppice rotation. Unlike imported bamboo canes they are completely renewable, they grip netting and twine beautifully thanks to their natural texture, and at the end of their life they can go on the compost heap or under the kindling.
They are sold in bundles, ready for wigwams and double rows alike. Poles go quickly in spring, so reserve yours early. Collection from Small Dole.
